1/4/17 Get a new notebook or folder for Monday!!! On Monday, we will set up a new interactive notebook for the second semester. Complete the Pre-Lab Questions on Minerals given out in class today.
1/5-6 Answer the Post-Lab Questions; Complete Textbook pgs. 210-221; Get a NEW folder or notebook to set up on Monday in class.
1/9 Study for a QUIZ on Tues/Wed on Minerals; Complete the Essay Review Questions on Minerals (on the back of the Mineral ID Chart); HONORS- Birthstone Project due January 17/18 for 1 test grade.
1/10-11 STUDY FOR THE TEST ON MINERALS ON THUR/FRI (pgs. 96-102 in your folder); HONORS- Birthstone Project due January 17/18 for 1 test grade.
1/12-13 Chapter 6 vocabulary words on pg. 209 in the textbook. Write the 21 words and definitions on pg. 103 in your folder. HONORS- Birthstone Project due January 17/18 for 1 test grade.
1/17-18 Complete the Review and Conclusion Questions from the Igneous Rock ID Investigation and Complete the Exit Slip that was given out at the end of class. Study your notes on Igneous Rocks.
1/19-20 Study all of your Rock Notes (Igneous, Sedimentary and Metamorphic) for a QUIZ on Monday (pgs. 105 and 109 in your folder).
1/23 Complete Textbook pgs. 222-232
1/24-25 Complete the Rock Essay Review Questions for the Test
1/26-27 Rock Cycle Comic Strip and Analysis Questions due Monday for a QUIZ grade. (illustrate each step of your journey, show yourself as a rock in each picture, color it, come up with a title, and answer the 5 analysis questions)
1/30 STUDY FOR ROCK TEST ON TUESDAY/WEDNESDAY!!!!!!! (PGS. 104-113 IN YOUR FOLDER)

Keep your Interactive Science Notebook organized, up to date, and all notes/handouts taped on the correct pages. You will have a Notebook Test at the end of every nine weeks marking period.
